We're Here!!!

We got to Paris early Wednesday Morning, about 7 am, which is midnight in MO. Our flights had both been good and both actually arrived early. The only major thing that happened was halfway through our flight from Philadelphia to Paris the lady sitting in front of me was unconsious and had to be taken to the back of the plance for oxygen. She ended up being ok but it was super scary. We were afraid we'd have to finish our flight with a dead body.
Once we got through customs and got our luggage...which luckily all made it to France...we headed to the train station, which was right under the airport. Once we were there we got some breakfast and water and started our 6 hr wait for our train. We piled all our luggage around us and had some fun people watching and making fun of the annoucer lady, she had an anger towards the #6...it made the time go by a little faster. I had to pay to use the bathroom while we waited and we were both so exhausted we just wanted to get on the train so we could sleep.
It was finally time for our train to leave and before we could get on this guy who was also going to Rennes found us and wouldn't quit talking to us. Luckily he was in a different car so we were able to sleep some on the 3 hr train ride from Paris to Rennes. When we got off the train, with all of our luggage...which was a challenge...he was waiting for us. We made our way up into the train station where he was supposed to meet someone who we thought was different from the WellCome Team which was who was picking us up. We found Kevin who was picking us up, but our friend tagged along, even though he wasnt' the other person who they were supossed to be picking up. We made our way out to the car, Kevin helped Morgan and I with our luggage, and stuffed all of it into the back of this tiny car and the 3 of us piled in the back...did i mention this other guy is kinda large? They started driving and finally realized he isn't the other kid we are supposed to have...so we go back to the train station and Kevin takes him in to meet the guy he was supposed to me originally...only problem was...we lost the kid we were supossed to be picking up.

The WellCome Team went ahead and took us to our apartment and walked us in to make sure we got checked in alright. The lady at the front desk was real nice and explained everything to us. She also showed us upstairs to our apartment and made sure we had everything we needed.

We were so excited to finally be in France and in our apartment...we kinda forgot how tired we were. We decided to unpack and get everything in our apartment orgainized. This didn't take us super long, since we couldn't bring a ton with us. We then headed next door to the McDonalds...which made us so happy to see out our window! We had some good American food and then walked back home in the rain to shower and get ready for bed. We went to sleep at 9 pm here, which is only 3 pm at home...but we had both been up with very little sleep since like 8 am the day before. We had closed the blind type things on our windows before we headed to sleep and we didn't wake up till 2:30 pm here on Thursday...that was 17 1/2 hrs of sleep!!!
