We had to have another computer training this morning at 9. So we were up at 7:30 to get ready and get to school. The thing was supposed to take till 11:30...luckily it didn't...but we didn't actually learn anything. We were supposed to be able to check the system today that had our schedules in it...but it messed up. Morgan's shows one class and mine has none. We are registered though...dont worry. They said it should be fixed soon. Only problem...we can only access the schools website at school...so hope its fixed tomorrow or we won't know when our classes are.
After our computer class we went and got the contracts for our bank accounts...we officially have accounts in France. We also found out about this card we can buy at the train station to get cheap train tickets to everywhere...just what we need so we can actually afford to travel. Once that was done we headed down to the cafeteria for some lunch. The fries are amazing! We ate outside becuase it was a gorgeous day. After we finished eating we laid in the grass soaking in the sun and read over some of the information the train people gave us. It was very helpful in planning some of our travel.
When it as time for our next and last meeting of the day (1:30) we went back inside and found the room. It was like an auditorium with awesome movie theater seats and everything. It was supposed to be an hr and a half lecture on how they teach...these people are obsessed with teaching about how they teach. I think this makes the 3rd meeting we have had this week about it. The guy seemed pretty cool at the beginging...but he talked super slow...and needless to say i dozzed off several times during his talk...which thankfully was only an hr. Although, if he had talked at a normal human pace it would have been about 30 minutes.
After the meeting we grabbed the bus and came home. We were both real worn out for some reason. We laid around most of the afternoon and read/watched tv. We found something called the Disney Break on a channel here. It was the Disney channel for the length of one show...it was strange...but fun to see a show we liked. I just finished showering and now i'm getting dressed to go out tonight. The school is having what they call the Wellcome Party. We are meeting downtown and going to a bar. Hopefully we will meet some fun people and actually make some friends. I'll tell yall about it tomorrow. We only have 3 things tomorrow and one is a welcome drink after 2 meetings. It should be a nice ending to a very long week. I better finish getting ready though.
